What materials are Nizio Home furniture made from?
Our furniture is made from solid pine, solid oak, or a combination of pine and oak, depending on the selected model and finish. We do not use MDF or particleboard in the construction of our beds. We use carefully selected timber, full-length slats and durable woodworking joints. As a result, our furniture is long-lasting, stable and retains the natural beauty of wood for many years.
How is Nizio Home different from mass-produced furniture?
Nizio Home is a Polish family-owned manufacturer with traditions dating back to 1959. Our furniture is not mass-produced — every single component is crafted by experienced artisans and inspected at every stage of production.
We combine traditional craftsmanship, solid wood, modern technology and timeless design. This allows us to create furniture that is not only beautiful, but also comfortable, stable and designed for everyday use for many years.
Are screws or fasteners visible?
No. We design our furniture so that all fasteners are concealed. This gives the furniture a clean, elegant appearance while making the surfaces safer and more comfortable for everyday use, especially in children's rooms.
Is the furniture suitable for children?
Yes. Many of our products are designed specifically for children and teenagers. We pay particular attention to structural stability, rounded edges, smoothly sanded surfaces and safe finishes.
We use water-based paints that comply with EN 71-3, making the finish safe for children and suitable for everyday use in the home.
Are the paints and finishes safe?
Yes. We use certified water-based paints that comply with EN 71-3 to finish our furniture. Once dry, the finish is durable, odour-free and safe for everyday use. This is particularly important for children's beds, bunk beds, loft beds and furniture designed for children's and teenagers' rooms.
What warranty do your products come with?
Our furniture comes with a 10-year warranty on the construction and a 2-year warranty on the painted finish.
This warranty reflects our confidence in the quality of workmanship, the durability of the materials and the stability of the construction.
Beds, safety and everyday use
What is the maximum weight capacity of the beds?
The maximum load capacity depends on the type of bed:
- single beds: up to 200 kg,
- bunk beds: up to 200 kg per
sleeping level, - loft beds: up to 200 kg,
- double beds: up to 400 kg,
- trundle beds with sleeping function: up to
160 kg.
This makes many of our beds suitable not only for children, but also for teenagers and adults.
From what age can a child sleep on the top bunk?
We recommend using the upper bunk of a bunk bed or loft bed from the age of 6. The upper sleeping area is protected by a safety guardrail, all edges are rounded, and the bed can also be secured to the wall if the selected model allows it. However, the final decision should depend on the child's independence, height, and ability to use the bed safely.
Are loft beds suitable for teenagers and adults?
Yes. Nizio Home loft beds are designed not only for children but also for teenagers and adults. With a load capacity of up to 200 kg and a solid wood construction, they are built to last for many years—from childhood, through the teenage years and into adulthood. They are an excellent choice for children's rooms, teenagers' rooms, small bedrooms, studio apartments or any space where every square metre counts.
What safety standards do the beds comply with?
Selected beds comply with European safety and durability standards, including EN 747 for bunk beds and raised beds, EN 1725 for beds and mattress supports, and EN 71-3 regarding the safety of the surface finishes used.
In practice, this means we pay attention not only to appearance but also to structural stability, guardrail safety, mattress base durability and the overall quality of the finish.
Does the bed need to be fixed to the wall?
Selected models include a wall mounting kit. We particularly recommend securing loft beds and furniture used in children's rooms to the wall, as this provides additional stability during everyday use.

Can the ladder be installed on the left or right side?
Yes, for many models. The ladder can be installed on either the left or the right side of the bed, and the decision is made during assembly.
This makes it easier to adapt the bed to your room layout, doors, windows, radiators and other furniture. Detailed ladder installation information is available on the relevant product page.
What are the differences between the N01–N06 loft bed models?
Models N01–N06 differ mainly in the position of the ladder and the design of the side panels. Models N01 and N02 have the ladder on the shorter side — on model N01 it is vertical, while on model N02 it is inclined. Models N03, N04, N05 and N06 have the ladder on the longer side and differ in the design of their side panels.
All models feature a sturdy construction, similar configuration options and a load capacity of up to 200 kg. The choice of model therefore mainly depends on your room layout, ease of access and preferred design.
Should I choose a loft bed with or without a desk?
The version with a desk is an excellent choice if you want to combine a sleeping area with a study or workspace in one piece of furniture. It is ideal for small children's rooms, teenagers' rooms and studio apartments. The version without a desk offers greater flexibility when arranging the space beneath the bed. You can place your own desk, chest of drawers, shelving unit, armchair or create a play area there.
What clearance height under the loft bed should I choose?
The standard clearance under our loft beds is 142 cm. This is ideal for younger children and for situations where the space underneath is intended for a play area, a chest of drawers, an armchair or a lower desk. For teenagers, adults and models with an integrated desk, a greater clearance—typically from around 150 cm upwards—is often more comfortable. Many models can also be ordered with a custom clearance between 143 and 170 cm.
How can I check if a loft bed will fit in my room?
Before purchasing, we recommend measuring the room height, the available floor space and any furniture that will be placed underneath the bed. Pay attention to the overall bed height, the clearance height, the mattress thickness and the comfortable headroom above the sleeping area. If you are unsure which option is best, contact us and send us your room dimensions. We will help you choose the right model, clearance height and mattress size for your space.
Is the mattress included?
A mattress is not included as standard and must be selected separately. This allows you to choose a mattress that best suits the user's age, height, weight and personal preferences. Information about the correct mattress size and recommended thickness can be found on the relevant product page.
What mattress sizes fit the loft beds?
Our loft beds are available in a wide range of mattress sizes. In most cases, you can choose widths of 80, 90, 100 or 120 cm and lengths of 180, 190 or 200 cm. For selected models, the recommended mattress thickness is 10–22 cm. Detailed specifications can always be found on the relevant product page.
Customisation and personalisation
Can I choose the colour of the furniture?
Yes. Most of our furniture is available in several standard colours and finishes. For selected models, we can also manufacture the product in any colour from the RAL or NCS colour palettes. This is an excellent solution if you want to match the furniture to your walls, flooring, doors, built-in furniture or other interior elements.
Can I order colour or wood samples?
Yes. Upon request, we can send you samples of selected colours or wood finishes. This makes it easier to evaluate the shade, texture and how the finish looks in the natural light of your home. Samples are particularly useful when choosing oak finishes, natural wood finishes or custom colours from the RAL/NCS colour palettes.
Do you manufacture custom-sized furniture?
For selected models, we can modify the dimensions, provide a custom clearance height or manufacture the furniture in a non-standard colour. The available modifications depend on the specific product and its construction. Before placing your order, we recommend contacting us, sending your room dimensions and describing the result you would like to achieve.
Can made-to-order products be returned?
Standard products may be returned in accordance with the terms set out in our store regulations. Products made to individual order, such as those with custom dimensions, custom clearance heights or non-standard finishes, may be subject to different return conditions than standard products. Before ordering a custom-made product, we recommend contacting us to confirm all production details and the applicable return policy.
Can I order matching furniture?
Yes. Nizio Home offers beds, chests of drawers, desks, shelving units, wardrobes, bedside tables, storage chests and accessories. This allows you to furnish an entire room in a consistent style and finish. For many products, we also suggest matching furniture that complements the selected model in both style and colour.
Can the furniture be disassembled and reassembled later?
Yes. Our furniture is designed for secure assembly and can also be disassembled and reassembled if needed. We use high-quality fittings that make it easy to take the furniture apart, for example when moving house or rearranging a room.
Assembly
Is the furniture difficult to assemble?
No. Our furniture is designed to make assembly as simple and intuitive as possible. Every product comes with assembly instructions, and for many models the instructions can also be downloaded from the product page. Larger components may be delivered partially assembled, making the assembly process easier and improving the overall stability of the furniture.
Do you offer an assembly service?
We do not provide a standard assembly service. Most customers assemble their furniture themselves using the included assembly instructions. For larger products, such as bunk beds or loft beds, we recommend assembly by two people, as it is easier, safer and faster.
What tools are needed for assembly?
Basic tools are sufficient to assemble most of our products. Detailed information can be found in the assembly instructions included with the product. If you have any questions before or during assembly, feel free to contact us — we'll be happy to guide you through the process.
Delivery and lead times
What is the lead time for an order?
Most of our furniture is made to order. The current production or order preparation time is shown on the relevant product page. Please note that the total delivery time also includes shipping, which depends on the destination country and the selected delivery method.
How is delivery carried out?
Most larger furniture items are shipped on specially prepared pallets or in carefully protected packages. Deliveries are handled by companies specialising in furniture transport. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive delivery information along with the option to track your shipment.
Will the courier carry the furniture into my home?
Standard delivery does not always include carrying the furniture into your home. If this service is available for your delivery address, it will appear as an option during checkout after you enter your delivery details. For large furniture, we recommend checking in advance that staircases, lifts and doorways provide sufficient access for transporting the packages.
Can I choose a specific delivery date?
In many cases, delivery can be arranged for a specific working day. The preferred delivery date should be added to the order notes or sent to us by email before the order is dispatched. Once the shipment has been collected by the carrier, additional delivery details may be available in the carrier's tracking system.
Do you ship furniture internationally?
Yes. We deliver to many European countries. Available delivery options, shipping costs and estimated delivery times depend on the destination country and the type of product. Current delivery options are displayed during checkout after you select the delivery country.
Can I collect my order in person?
Yes. Personal collection is available by prior arrangement from our headquarters in Biłgoraj, 47 Krzeszowska Street. Please contact us before your visit to confirm the collection date and that your order is ready.
Returns, warranty claims and transport damage
Can I return a product?
Yes. Selected standard products can be returned within up to 100 days of receiving your order, in accordance with our store's terms and conditions. This return policy does not apply to made-to-order products. Before returning an item, please contact us—we will provide all the necessary details and help you choose the best shipping method.
What should I do if the product does not meet my expectations?
Please contact us by email or phone. Provide your order number, describe the situation and, if possible, attach photos of the product. Our goal is to find the best solution for you, whether that is a return, replacement, repair or another form of assistance, in accordance with the terms applicable to your order.
What should I do if the shipment is damaged?
When your order is delivered, please check that the packaging has not been damaged. If you notice any damage, take photos, report it to the courier and contact us as soon as possible. If only one component has been damaged, in many cases there is no need to return the entire piece of furniture — we can simply send you a replacement part.
How do I submit a warranty claim?
You can submit a warranty claim by email at office@niziohome.com or by phone. Please provide your order number, describe the issue and attach photos showing the defect or damage. Once we receive your claim, we will inform you about the next steps and the best way to resolve the issue.
Payment and contact
What payment methods are available?
Available payment methods are displayed in the shopping cart before you complete your order. The available options may vary depending on the delivery country and currency.
Can I buy the furniture in instalments?
If installment payments are available for your country and shopping cart, you will see this option during checkout. The system automatically displays the currently available payment methods based on the selected delivery country.
